Encouragement - The oxygen of the soul

I have been thinking a lot recently about encouragement.  In a world that can wear you down, encouragement is vital.

So, my question, each day for myself is - Who can I encourage?  Who needs some emotional and mental “oxygen” from me?

When I start my day, in that spirit, my radar is up.  

-A friend comes to mind.

-Or I meet a harried stranger that needs an encouraging word.  

-Or a customer service person seems to want to connect in our brief conversation and I take the extra few minutes to do so.

Whatever it is, being an encourager is a powerful gift. I’m encouraging you to use that power today in whatever way you can.
